Utrecht photos
It's quite funny what people take photies of when they come to Utrecht, I suppose it depends on which 'skool' you belong to, but it usually evens out to, the Dom tower, the train station/double decker trains, canals, random statues, graffiti.... there was even a shot some delicious looking pancakes... (admittably it was taken in Amsterdam though), so many thanks to Dave 'aka Ronnie' Letorey for allowing me to publish a few photies from a recent trip to the Netherlands.
mmmmmm you salivate!

In pictures: Face of addiction
Police in London are trying a new shock tactic in the war on drugs. Images showing the decline of addicts will be shown on posters, bar mats and flyers. This first image shows Roseanne Holland at the age of 29 before her heroin habit took hold.

A Manhattan Sunset

Today, if it is clear, Manhattan will flood dramatically with sunlight just as the Sun sets precisely on the centerline of every street. Usually, the tall buildings that line the gridded streets of New York City's tallest borough will hide the setting Sun. This effect makes Manhattan a type of modern Stonehenge, although only aligned to about 30 degrees east of north.
Were Manhattan's road grid perfectly aligned to east and west, today's effect would occur on the Vernal and Autumnal Equinox, March 21 and September 21, the only two days that the Sun rises and sets due east and west.
If today's sunset is hidden by clouds do not despair -- the same thing happens every May 28 and July 12. On none of these occasions, however, should you ever look directly at the Sun. (duh)

The Rasterbator
The Rasterbator is not as rude as it sounds.
If you havn't got access to a 10grand A2 printer, then why not try this.
You can upload images up to 1MB from your PC or the Web and convert them into huge rasterized pictures out of relatively small image files. The pictures can be assembled into extremely cool looking posters up to 5 meters in size!

Holey Craters batman
BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | In pictures: Close-ups of Mars

This picture, taken on 19 January 2004, shows the summit caldera (collapsed magma chamber) of the volcano Albor Tholus. It is of particular interest as the 3 km depth of the caldera approaches the height of the volcano, which is unusual on Earth. A bright "dust fall" seems to flow from the plateau into the caldera.

Picasso's Malaga museum realised
Celebrated artist Pablo Picasso's dream of opening a gallery in his home city of Malaga has been realised with the inauguration of a dedicated museum.
Picasso had himself identified the palace as a possible site for the project in 1953, but had been frustrated by politics.

Mr T specialMr T or is it Mr Team?.. someone please correct me..
If you have managed to check my GALLERY, I have been taking pics of various stuff around Holland. I really like graffiti, something about my old skool up-bringing> baggy jeans, breakdancing, graffiti.. not that I ever have done any.. but thats leading me astray.
Now I thought this Mr T dood was good, I like the clean image, cheesy grin and whopping big chin, kinda reminds me of cartoon faces I used to draw as a *gulp*...teenager.
Any who, I just noticed yesterday.. after a tip off from a guy (name?...damn!) I met while taking photies in the city center. I cycled my normal way back, also where I took the photo of the Cow Stencil which was pasted over by this GALLERY by Mr Team. I love it! and a real treat, as just the day before I caught what was perhaps a prethought to posters.
Anyway.. some Mr T on acid
